On your mark, get set, …

There's a ton of RapidWeaver news heading your way. So much that it's hard to know where to begin. I'll just dive right in…

RapidWeaver 6

Next Tuesday RapidWeaver 6 will be released. Realmac blogged about all the details, including upgrade pricing, even for folks who bought on the Mac App Store — which is absolutely a huge deal.
Not only is this a huge update for users, it's amazing for developers too — moving the RapidWeaver API into the future and enabling us to do so much more. Hold on to your hat, it's going to be a big year for RapidWeaver addons.

Stacks Cloud

Our Stacks Cloud beta ran a bit longer than expected -- we've been a tiny bit busy getting ready for RapidWeaver 6! It's finally ready and we'll be throwing open the doors to Stacks Cloud for everyone Friday October 17th.
What's new? A lot of bug fixes, UI polish, and details, of course — but we have some big news too: there's now a free plan that anyone can use to try out Stacks Cloud that has no time limit. It lets you use a handful of cloud stacks for as long as like, for free. We think this will be a great way to get to know Stacks Cloud and the perfect plan for designers and clients to work together on shared sites.

So Many Updates

We've been busy updating our plugins for RapidWeaver 6. This meant building 64-bit versions of our plugins that work well on modern OS X and inside the Mac App Store sandbox. That's 5 plugins and 9 years worth of code, all carefully updated. It was a huge undertaking, but after a few months of hard work, we're all set. All of our plugins are ready for RapidWeaver 6, they all work just as well as before, and all the updates are, of course, free.

Make Sure You're Ready

To make sure you're ready for RapidWeaver 6, keep all your plugins up to date. If you're unsure, grab fresh copies of all our plugins from our website. The latest versions of our plugins are all set for your upgrade to RapidWeaver 6. Our support team has been working closely with the RapidWeaver 6 beta testers and are ready to answer any RapidWeaver 6 plugin questions.

It's going to be a fun week! I can't wait!
